April 10, Fineko/abc.az. The number of banks supporting the self-employment program has increased.

ABC.AZ reports that with this purpose the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection, the Central Bank and the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan are actively working on the implementation of the signed Memorandum of Cooperation.

At the initial stage eight banks operating in Azerbaijan have joined the program - International Bank of Azerbaijan, Capital Bank, PASHA Bank, Accessbank, Bank Respublika, Rabitabank, Turanbank, and Yelo Bank.

As a result of this program, the banks have started signing relevant grant agreements with citizens involved in the program, and providing free of charge on the basis of contracts for two years of assets in the field of services and production (including materials, equipment and other property in kind).

In the near future, other banks are planning to actively join the process.
