New buses added to available express buses in Baku to reduce passenger density

April 15, Fineko/abc.az. Additional buses have been used for the express bus lines due to the increase in passenger traffic.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Baku Transport Agency that 485,742 passengers were transported by regular and express buses on the first working day of this week. And this figure was 478 679 on 14 April.

"This means an increase of 23% compared with the relevant days of last week. With the purpose manage properly the growing passenger traffic and ensure timely transportation of passengers, additional buses were attracted to the express lines. We also note that passenger traffic is mainly observed in the interval of 7-9 hours. Once again, we’d like to inform you that the main purpose of organizing passenger transportation under special quarantine is to ensure comfortable and uninterrupted use of public transport for citizens working in vital spheres," the Agency noted.
