Georgia applies for aid to international organizations - $1.5 bn allocated to it

April 15, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of the year the Georgian economy will receive additional assistance in the amount of $1.5 bn.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that the statement was made by Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.

The PM noted that the funds will be allocated by the EU, the ADB, the EBRD, the European Investment Bank, the German Development Fund and the French Development Agency.

Gakharia noted that as a result of negotiations with donors, an additional $1.5 bn will be invested in the Georgian economy by the end of the year.

"The allocated funds will be used both for budget assistance and for specific projects," the PM said.
