April 15, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter 941 million cu m of natural gas were delivered to Turkey via TANAP. And since the commissioning of TANAP until now up to 5 bn cu m of gas have been delivered to Turkey.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Ministry of Energy that over the reporting period gas sales from Azerbaijan abroad amounted to 3.57 bn cu m that is by 11.6% more versus thr 2019 same term. In the 1st quarter Azerbaijan exported 2.6 bn cu m of gas to Turkey (by 23% more). The volume of gas exported to Georgia totaled 923 million cu m.

The first gas deliveries to Turkey via the TANAP gas pipeline, which was commissioned in Eskisehir on 12 June 2018, began on 30 June 2018. The TANAP pipeline was brought into readiness to transport Azerbaijani natural gas to Europe since 1 July 2019. The second phase of the TANAP pipeline was commissioned on 30 November 2019.
