Azerbaijan repaired 360 km of section of railway Baku-Boyuk Kesik

CJSC Azerbaijani Railways (ADY) continues capital repairs of railroad Baku – Boyuk-Kesik.

The Company reports that overhaul of 9.5-km section Ujar-Alikend has started.

"Repairs of this section will be finished within a week," ADY informed.

On 14 April 2015 ADY and Czech company MORAVIA STEEL signed an additional agreement to the export agreement on implementation of the second phase of the project of reconstruction of Azerbaijani Railways. The contract provides for logistics and overhaul of 600 km railway line Baku–Boyuk-Kesik. So far, 348 km of roads have been repaired within the second phase.
