April 21, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on the additional measures aimed to improve the supply of irrigation water to cultivated areas and meet the needs of the population for drinking water.

ABC.AZ reports that in compliance with the order the State Budget allocated AZN 1.19 million to Melioration & Water Industry Management Company for design and drilling of 17 sub-artesian wells with the purpose to improve irrigation water supply in crop areas and homesteads used for sowing, as well as to meet the needs of the population for drinking water in 13 populated localities of Agdash, Bilasuvar, Ganja, Khojavend, Yardimli, Shusha (territory of Agdam district), Lachin (territory of Agjabedi district), Gobustan, Lerik, Naftalan.
