April 22, Fineko/abc.az. Tax benefits for taxpayers working in various tax regimes are planned.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in Economy Ministry-prepared Mechanism of tax incentives & vacations for business entities (including small and medium-sized businesses) working in pandemic-affected spheres.

Along with the exemption from property and land tax in spheres affected by the coronavirus pandemic, depending on the chosen method of taxation for taxpayers operating in these areas, a number of tax benefits will be provided for the period of one year from 1 January 2020.

For payers working in the income tax regime:

- tax benefits of 75% of the received profit (income) is envisaged.

Taxpayers engaged in public catering and passenger transportation, who are payers of simplified tax:

- a 50% discount is provided on the simplified tax amount.
