April 22, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Agriculture will take measures aimed at improving the activities of subordinate veterinary departments and phase out liquidation of the field veterinary offices that are part of these departments by the end of 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that the measures will be taken in compliance with the relevant newly-signed presidential order on certain measures to improve services provided in the field of veterinary medicine.

Under the order, the Ministry should also endorse within two months a sample agreement to be concluded between the Agency for Agricultural Services and veterinary entities with the purpose to organize veterinary services financed from the State Budget in a single order, in order to coordinate the activities of veterinary entities in the electronic agricultural information system (ESIS), and must ensure the formation of a subsystem for monitoring veterinary services, which ensures their registration and electronic tracking of the fulfillment of obligations under the contract, within one year.
