AZN 1 million allocated for irrigation and water supply measures in Nakhchivan

April 23, Fineko/abc.az. Today, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on the additional measures aimed at improving the provision of irrigation water to crops in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and meeting population’s drinking water needs.

ABC.AZ reports that the State Budget allocated AZN 1 million to the NAR Cabinet Ministers referred to in subparagraph 1.46.5 “Distribution of funds for state capital investments (investment expenditures) in the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2020” for the design and drilling of artesian wells on the territory of the NAR with the purpose of improving irrigation acreage and water.
