WW II veterans to receive aid of 1,500 manats

April 24, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan president has signed a decree on lump-sum financial aid to participants of the Second World War (1941-1945), widows of soldiers who died or died later, persons awarded orders and medals for selfless work in the rear.

ABC.AZ reports that in compliance with the decree lump-sum financial assistance to WWII participants in the amount of 1,500 manats to the widows of soldiers killed or died later of fighters in WWII, persons awarded the orders and medals For Selfless Labor in the Rear, employees of special forces, carrying out tasks for the benefit of the army and the navy in the rear boundaries of the battlefields operational zones or war ships during the WWII, the persons, awarded the appropriate medal and badge For the Defense of the City of Leningrad during WWII, as well as participants in the siege of Leningrad in the amount of 750 manats.

The Presidential Reserve Fund of State Budget 2020 allocated AZN 5.9 million for this purpose.
