April 24, Fineko/abc.az. Another health worker in Azerbaijan has contracted the coronavirus.

ABC.AZ reports that ophthalmologist Azgul Abdiyeva informed about this in his account on the social network.

She noted that infected doctor Namig Nabiyev was among those who participated in the fight against the coronavirus from the first day.

Abdiyeva noted that the doctor, starting from February, provided services in the quarantine hospitals of Gobustan, Neftchala, Jalilabad, Astara, Bilasuvar and the village of Olimpiya, as well as was one of the doctors who actively worked in the Infectious Department of Baku and suburban hospitals.

Currently, Nabiyev is undergoing treatment at the AMU.

Earlier in Azerbaijan a doctor infected with coronavirus died.
