April 29, Fineko/abc.az. The people of Azerbaijan and businessmen should understand from the steps taken by the government, including the Central Bank, that we did not back down before this unusual crisis.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-mentioned statement was made by CBA chairman Elman Rustamov, as a guest on TV channel AzTV.

He noted that the forces that do not love Azerbaijan give pessimistic forecasts: "They give wishful for thinking. But everything is not as they imagine. We don't hide anything from anyone. What the reality is, we are talking about to the citizens of Azerbaijan. The situation is tense, complex, and uncertain, but we are in control of it, and we intend to continue to control it further."
