How deposits of closed banks will be returned? – Central Bank`s general director

April 29, Fineko/abc.az. The deposits in two recently-closed banks are insured by 100%.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement Central Bank’s general director Rashad Orujev in an interview with TV channel Real TV.

He noted that the procedure on the return of fully insured deposits will already start operating: "Bank’s bankruptcy is an insurance event. Thus, the Deposit Insurance Fund will begin the process of returning savings deposits in banks, whose license has been canceled. The Fund has sufficient funds for this purpose. Additional funds will be paid by the Central Bank."
