Oil keeps on rising in price, Brent is traded at $24 a barrel

April 30, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades continued to rise in trading on Thursday due to optimism related to the easing of quarantine in a number of countries and the recovery of energy demand.

By 9:10 am, on the London ICE Futures Exchange, Brent crude futures for June rose in price by $2.15 (9.54%) up to $24.69 per barrel.

Following the trading on 29 April on the ICE Futures Exchange, June’s Brent crude futures grew by $2.08 (10.17%) up to $22.54 per barrel.

By 9:10 am, on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the price of WTI futures for June increased by $2.16 (14.34%) up to $17.22 per barrel.

At the end of trading on 29 April on the NYMEX, the June WTI oil futures price grew by $2.72 (22.04%) up to $15.06 per barrel.
