Fed has kept interest rate

April 30, Fineko/abc.az. The US Federal Reserve (Fed) has released its decision on the interest rate.

ABC.AZ reports that as expected, the interest rates remained unchanged.

Thus, the Fed kept the interest rate in the range of 0-0.25%.

The Bank linked that with the fact that the coronavirus creates large risks in the medium-term prospect.

Fed's percentage was in the range of 1.50-1.75% before the 3 March meeting. The Fed went down by 0.5 points at the 3 March meeting, and on 15 March by 1 point.
