Record-length train to export cargo via BTK rail line

May 5, Fineko/abc.az. A record-length train has departed from Turkey to Georgia via the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that on 3 May a train weighing 2,400 tons, with total length of 1,050 m, with 100 containers in 50 cars, left Kars for Georgia via the BTK rail line.

The train will export to Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan via Mersin, Kayseri, Ankara, Izmit, Istanbul and Azerbaijan.

Machine parts, automobile products, agricultural machinery, ceramic products and personal hygiene products are transported to these countries.
