New silkworm gardens are laid in this district - process began


May 6, Fineko/ New orchards are being laid in Masalli district with the purpose to develop fruit growing in the area.

ABC.AZ reports that in accordance with local conditions a tangerine garden was laid on 2 hectare area in the Luren village, cherry plum garden ‘Geydja’ on 1 hectare area, and feijoa gardens on 2 hectare area in Arkivan settlement of the district. 250 seedlings of various fruit trees were planted in Sharafa village and about 100 seedlings in Vilyash village.

The Masalli district residents prefer to lay mulberry gardens in most populated localities in connection with the development of sericulture in this district.
