May 6, Fineko/abc.az. Milli Majlis deputy chairman Adil Aliyev has been appointed to the Supervisory Board of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) as a member representing the parliament.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to SOFAZ that Adil Aliyev is a member of the parliament of the 3rd, 4rd, 5rd and 6th convocations, and on 10 March 2020 he was elected deputy chairman of Milli Majlis and the chairman of the Youth & Sports Committee.

He is the head of the Parliamentary Delegation in the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the head of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group. Since 2009 he has been deputy chairman of the CIS Defense & Security Committee. Previously, he held various positions in the internal affairs bodies of Azerbaijan.
