Baku records the largest rate of unemployed and Nakhchivan – the smallest

May 6, Fineko/abc.az. The number of the unemployed registered by employment services as of 1 April 2020 reached 100,800 persons, and women make up 36.9% of them.

The average monthly amount of unemployment insurance payments was 309 manats. Most of the unemployed (27,962 persons) are registered in Baku. The lowest number (86 people) of thee unemployed in the country is registered in Nakhchivan.
