Kurdamir district observed livestock production rise by 24% for Jan-Apr

May 7, Fineko/abc.az. The livestock production in the Kurdamir district increased on all indicators for the past 4 months of 2020.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Disrtict Statistics Department that the intensive growth of livestock production in the leading sectors of the agricultural sector continues.

Thus, for Jan-Apr 2020 meat production grew by 0.5%, milk by 1.3%, eggs by 0.2% against Jan-Apr 2019.

At agricultural enterprises the growth rate of livestock production was even higher. At enterprises engaged in the livestock output the production of milk increased by 22.8% and meat by 1.3%.
