May 7, Fineko/abc.az. The final exams of 9th grades in secondary schools will be conducted next month.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by Maleyka Abbaszadeh, the chairperson of the State Examination Center Board of Directors, during her speech at a briefing of the Cabinet Operational Headquarters.

She noted that 15 types of exams were postponed, and this affected the fate of 180,000 people. According to Abbaszadeh, the most popular of these exams are the final exams of the 9th grade: "As the number of participants is more than 120,000. According to the rules of this year, the 9th grade exams will be held in one stage. This year, the assessment will be based on the second stage model for the remaining 80,000 students. 40,000 results of the first stage will be calculated based on the corresponding 100-point scale. Thus, 40,000 people who participated in the first stage, i.e. in March, they will not participate in June. In June, we’ll hold exams in the districts for 80,000 students. The results of the second stage will be transferred to a 100-point scale instead of 70."
