Metro passenger statistics released

May 8, Fineko/abc.az. Before the quarantine, 800,000 passengers were transported by the Baku underground trains on working days, 600,000 on Saturdays, and 450,000 on Sundays.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by Baku Metro chairman Zaur Huseynov at a briefing at the Operational Headquarters.

He noted that on average 650,000 passengers were carried daily a year: "But in January, there was an increase in traffic - 39 million passengers. And in March traffic decreased, carrying a total of 12 million passengers.”
