12:53 - 12.05.2020

May 12, Fineko/abc.az. BP Azerbaijan has published a report on business operations for the first quarter of 2020.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the report, during the 1st quarter of 2020 about $150 million of operating expenses and about $522 million of capital expenditures were spent on the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli project.

During the quarter the installation of the upper platform modules, including the drilling module built as part of the Azeri Merkezi-Shergi (ACE) project, continued at the construction and installation site in Bibi-Eybat. However, towards the end of the quarter the restrictions caused by the pandemic led to delays in the delivery of materials and large equipment, which led to interruptions in construction work. Construction of the residential block continued in Sweden.

The construction of the supporting block constructed at the Heydar Aliyev Baku Deep Water Jacket Factory has advanced as well. The installation of the supporting block supports has already been completed, and by the end of this year it is planned to install the supports in the sea. Construction of underwater structures began at the construction site of the BDWJF, and work on concreting underwater pipes continued at the Caspian Pipe Coating (CPC) pipe concreting facility.
