Elman Rustamov: Banks have liquid funds for AZN 8 bn

May 13, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter of 2020 the banks have new loans for AZN 1.4 bn, Central Bank’s chair Elman Rustamov stated at a media conference.

He noted that the volume of the given loans shows that banks are actively involved in financing the real sector. The chief banker said that liquidity in the banking sector is high.

"The banks have liquid funds in the amount of AZN 8 bn," Rustamov added.
