Oil prices rise, and cost of Brent is above $31 a barrel

May 15, Fineko/abc.az. Oil continues to rise in price in trading on Friday, after increasing at the end of trading on Thursday.

By 8:45 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the price of Brent oil futures for July grew by $0.49 (1.57%) up to $31.62 per barrel.

Following the end of trading on 14 May at the ICE Futures Exchange the price for July’s futures increased by $1.94 (6.65%) up to $31.13 per barrel.

By 8:45 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI futures for June rose in price by $0.25 (0.91%) to $27.81 per barrel.

At the end of trading on 14 May at the NYMEX the June’s WTI oil futures rose by $2.27 (8.98%) up to $27.56 per barrel.
