May 15, Fineko/abc.az. The General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan has issued an official statement on the dismissal of prosecutors in several districts.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the General Prosecutor’s Office that Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev signed the relevant order.

Under the order, the following prosecutors have been dismissed: Khatayi district prosector Yusif Ildirimzade, Sabunchi district Jeyhun Shirinov, Nasimi district prosecutor Salman Mammadli, Gabala district prosecutor Magsad Orujov, Yevlakh district prosecutor Elkhan Panakhov.

Prosecutor general’s another order dismissed Niyaz Mamishov, the head of the GPO Material & Technical Support Department.

GPO press service’s head Eldar Sultanov confirmed the data. He noted that in accordance with the Law on Serving in the Organs of the Prosecutor's Office these persons who have reached the age limit for serving in the prosecutor's office were dismissed from their posts by relevant orders signed by Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev, and their service in the Prosecutor's Office was terminated.
