Average price of electricity has decreased in Azerbaijan

May 15, Fineko/abc.az. The consumer price index for paid services to the population for April 2020 made up 99.3% compared with the previous month and 100.4% compared with April 2019.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the cause of the decline of CPI for paid services to the population was the increase in the preferential limit of electricity consumption for a group of people from 300 to 400 kWh.

As a result, the average price of electricity for April declined by 12.5% compared with March 2020. There were no changes in prices for other paid services.
