May 15, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has registered 101 cases of coronavirus infection, 53 people were cured and released home.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Operational Headquarters that a citizen born in 1977 died of chronic kidney failure, chronic pyelonephritis and arterial hypertension, whose tests for the presence of COVID-19 were positive.

To date, 2,980 people have been infected with coronavirus infection in the country, of whom 1,886 have been cured, 36 people have died, and 1,058 people continue to be treated in special-regime hospitals. The condition of 37 of them is assessed as severe, 47 people as moderate, the condition of the rest is stable. Over the past period, 220,363 tests were conducted to detect new cases of infection.
