Coronavirus has dealt a heavy blow to Georgian automobile trade – Fall of 94% observed

May 19, Fineko/abc.az. The coronavirus pandemic has hit Georgia's auto trade.

ABC.AZ reports by with reference to the Georgian press that the sales of cars to other countries recorded a decline of 94.1%.

So, 6,033 cars were put up for sale in April 2019 and this figure reached 355 in April 2020.

As for car imports in Georgia, there has also been a serious decline in this area. If in April 2019 Georgia imported 5,712 cars, in April 2020 this number was 1,100 with a decrease of 80.7%.
