Georgia lowers oil imports by 19%

May 20, Fineko/abc.az. Georgia imported natural gas for $157.7 million for Jan-Apr 2020.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Georgian media that the relevant statement was made by the National Statistical Office of this country.

Over the reported period the share of products in the country's total imports made up 6.4%. Compared with last year, natural gas imports in Georgia grew by 1%.

For Jan-Apr Georgia imported oil and petroleum products for $171.2 million.

The cost of this product, which accounts for 7% of the country's total imports, was recorded a decrease of 19% against a year earlier.
