May 20, Fineko/abc.az. The Main Anti-Corruption Department of the General Prosecutor’s Office considered citizen's appeal about illegal actions of an ex-employee of the Nasimi District Department of the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection Ramiz Seyidaliyev.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office that the investigation confirmed the reasonable suspicions that Ramiz Seyidaliyev, using his official position, deceived a citizen with a promise to help with an increase of the pension amount, misappropriated his pension card and withdrew totally AZN 83,000 from this card in 2013-2018.
Seyidaliyev was brought as a defendant under Articles 178.3.2 (large-scale fraud with use of official position) and 29, 178.3.2 (attempt to fraud) of the Criminal Code, and the court's decision in respect of him chose a preventive measure in the form of detention.
