May 21, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2020 Azerbaijan extracted 13.4 bn cu m of gas (by 15% or 1.8 bn cu m more versus the same term 2019).

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Energy that gas extraction at ACG amounted to 4.6 bn cu m and at Shah Deniz 6.4 bn cu m. SOCAR produced 2.4 bn cu m of gas for this period.

For Jan-Apr 2020 country’s gas sales abroad amounted to 4.6 bn cu m (13.5% more than for the Jan-Apr 2019).

Over Jan-Apr 2020 Azerbaijan’s gas export to Turkey was by 23.6% (3.5 bn cu m of gas) more compared with Jan-Apr 2019. Gas exported to Georgia amounted to 1.1 bn cu m.

Azerbaijan delivered 1.3 bn cu m of gas to Turkey via TANAP for the reported period. TANAP carried over 5.1 bn cu m of gas to Turkey until 1 May from the moment of its commissioning.
