May 21, Fineko/abc.az. The Sumgait Technological Park (STP) has launched exporting aluminum billets to Egypt for the first time.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to STP that this is also the first export of aluminum billets to Egypt in the history of Azerbaijan.

STP produced initially the aluminum billets with a total weight of 100 tons, brand 6063, diameter 178 mm, height 5800 mm for the customer. Next month STP plans to send another 200 tons of aluminum billets. Aluminum billets are raw materials intended for the production of aluminum profiles.

In Azerbaijan this output is manufactured at the STP’s aluminum & copper profile plant. Previously STP had exported aluminum blanks and profiles to Denmark, Poland, Estonia, Ukraine, and Turkey.
