Oil prices fall, while Brent price declines to $34 a barrel

May 22, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices are falling on Friday after rising the day before up to the highest for the last 6 weeks.

By 9:15 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the Brent crude futures for July fell by $2.07 (5.74%) to $33.99 a barrel.

Following the trading on 21 May at the ICE Futures Exchange the price for July’s futures increased by $0.31 (0.87%) up to $36.06 a barrel.

By 9:15 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI futures for July fell in price by $2.37 (6.99%) to $31.55 a barrel.

At the end of trading on 21 May at the NYMEX the price of July’s WTI futures rose by $0.43 (1.28%) up to $33.92 a barrel.
