Rate of problem loans announced – AZN 1.386 bn

May 22, Fineko/abc.az. The loan portfolio of banks and other credit institutions of Azerbaijan as of 1 April amounted to AZN 15.637 bn in the equivalent of the national currency.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that since the beginning of this year the long-term loans accounted for AZN 12.836 bn or 82.1% of the total loan portfolio for the reported term.

97.4% of loans were given by banks, 2.6% by non-bank credit organizations and credit unions. The amount of overdue loans was equal to AZN 1.386 bn (8.9% of the total loan portfolio).
