Official unemployment statistics may be revised – Proposal

May 31, Fineko/abc.az. There is a need to prepare official statistics on the unemployed.

ABC.AZ reportys that the relevant statement was made by MP Ali Masimli during the discussion of current issues at today's session of Milli Majlis.

He noted that the relevant authorities should consider the matter of issuing financial aid of 190 manats to unemployed persons in June as well: "It is important to find a solution to this question. A lump-sum payment of 190 manats was given to 200,000 needy people, and then to 600,000 unemployed persons more. But this is not the last figure, so I suggest that the statistics be compiled again."
