June 5, Fineko/abc.az. Kamran Aliyev, the head of the Public Relations Office of the State Traffic Police Main Department, told where it is planned to direct finances from fines the police collected during the quarantine.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Aliyev, social network users sometimes claim that the police assign fines in order to derive interest benefits for themselves.

He noted that doctors and police officers fighting the coronavirus are in the main risk group: "However, sometimes people write in social networks that the police are fining citizens to receive their own ‘benefits’. But once again I want to tell people that if the police risk their lives, health, the health of their family and loved ones and fine someone, then not 1 manat of this money is added to the salary of police officers or to the State Budget. All funds raised are spent on fighting this disease.”
