Pandemic affected much on NBCO business owners

June 8, Fineko/abc.az. The pandemic has affected most of all business owners who are clients of non-bank credit organizations.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by Zhalia Hajiyeva, executive director of the Azerbaijan Microfinance Association (AMFA).

She noted that if the crisis of 2015 affected more banks and non-bank credit institutions, the current crisis for the most part has had a negative impact on business and partly on credit institutions: "Either they can't continue their business activities and no longer need a loan, or they want to continue their activities, but they can't get a loan because they didn't repay the debt in time. Indirectly, credit organizations are suffering damage. Therefore, first of all, business support should be provided. If there is support, it may lead to the repayment of its debt, as well as to the fact that the bank and the NBCO will receive support."
