WHO Director-General: It`s too early to stop taking actions against virus

June 9, Fineko/abc.az. Yesterday was the worst day of the coronavirus pandemic and in one day the virus infected 136,000 people.

ABC.AZ reports that Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adanom Gebreisus commented on the recent situation with coronavirus.

He says that it is currently too early for countries to stop measures related to the virus: "The situation in European countries has improved relatively. But the situation in South Asia and the Americas is critical. The next wave is also possible. Measures should be taken to prevent it."
