June 12, Fineko/abc.az. For the first 5 months of 2020 the total cost of production of construction materials in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 264.7 million.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that this means a decrease of 9.3% compared with the 2019 same term.

Thus, over Jan-May 2020 the production of construction gypsum increased by 3.6 times, construction bricks by 17.7%, and concrete mix for masonry by 4.4%.

During this period the production of prefabricated concrete structures decreased by 0.6%, cement by 6.2%, construction limestone by 37.2%, marble, travertine, alabaster and products made of them by 44.8%, asphalt by 48%, building blocks and bricks made of cement, artificial stone or concrete by 74.6%.
