Some educational institutions to be exempt from state duties

June 16, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, it is proposed not to charge a state duty for issuing licenses to state institutions of professional, secondary and higher education.

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, the amendments are being made to Paragraphs 22.0.5.3, 22.0.5.4 and 22.0.5.5 of the Law on State Duty.

According to the amendments, there will be no state duty for issuing licenses to vocational, secondary and higher educational institutions.

At present, a state duty of AZN 2,000 is charged for issuing licenses to vocational educational institutions, AZN 2,000 for issuing licenses to secondary special educational institutions, and AZN 13,750 for issuing licenses to higher educational institutions.

The proposed changes relate only to state-governed educational institutions.
