Binagadi highway in Baku to undergo repairs

State-run road company Azeravtoyol plans to start capital repairs of Binagadi highway in Baku.

The Company reports that repairs of the road is scheduled to begin in the coming days.

"Currently, work is underway on underground communication lines by relevant agencies. Repair of the road will be conducted in two phases. A 28-km rainwater collector will be constructed along the road in order to prevent the accumulation of water," Azeravtoyol said.

The highway will consist of four lanes, "pockets" for public transport, small parking lots for cars, and new sidewalks.
