June 16, Fineko/abc.az. Khachmaz observed a high yield on barley varieties imported from France.

ABC.AZ informs that foreign varieties with high yields and adaptability to severe weather conditions were originally planted in the fields of Azerbaijani-Turkish seed & research enterprise.

Trial planting of two varieties of soft wheat and one variety of barley was carried out on the 100 hectare area. The average yield of barley per hectare in the areas where the Ramata variety is grown has reached 53 quintals. Experts reports about a high result.

The main purpose of test plantings conducted under a contract with a French company is to study the advantages of new varieties compared to local varieties.
