Deposits in manats decreased

June 16, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 May 2020 the amount of population’s deposits in banks in domestic currency amounted to $7.758 bn, ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee.

According to the Bank, the manat deposits decreased by AZN 493.7 million for the reported term. For this period 55.1% of deposits were placed in foreign currency and 44.9% in national currency. The deposits in national currency decreased by 3.9% and the deposits in foreign currency by 16% compared with the 2019 same term.
