Oil prices fall after rising more than by 3% the day before


June 17, Fineko/abc.az. Prices of standard grades fall on Wednesday after solid growth the day before.

By 9:25 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the Brent crude futures for August fell by $0.66 (1.61%) up to $40.30 a barrel. Following the trading on 16 June, the price of Brent oil contracts for August grew by $1.24 (3.12%) up to $40.96 a barrel.

By 9:25 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI futures for July fell in price by $0.90 (2.35%) up to $37.48 a barrel. At the end of trading on 16 June the price of July’s WTI futures rose by $1.26 (3.4%) up to $38.38 per barrel.
