Baku-Tel Aviv direct flights to be launched from this month

June 19, Fineko/abc.az. Israel Airlines will operate a direct flight between Baku and Tel Aviv.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Israeli Embassy in Azerbaijan that the flight will take place on 24 June.

The flight is mainly aimed at Israeli citizens who remain in Azerbaijan.

Israel will open air routes for foreign citizens from 1 August. Azerbaijan's airports will remain closed for regular flights until 1 August. And since the introduction of the quarantine regime, only special charter flights are allowed in the country.
