Yagut Garayeva: We had doctors infected with COVID-19 who were ashamed of getting sick

June 20, Fineko/abc.az. Coronavirus is not a shame, everyone can get infected.

ABC.AZ reports that such a statement was made at today’s briefing by TABIB department head Yagut Garayeva.

She noted that if people's temperature rises to 39-40 degrees, they hide it, as if the coronavirus is a shameful disease: “We had doctors who were ashamed of this disease. Silence causes further aggravation, so you should immediately seek medical help. In one of the districts, a patient with a positive result was visited by neighbors and relatives. But even after recovery, you should wait out the 21-day period."
