Money transfers from Russia to Azerbaijan decreased much

June 22, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2020 the money transfers from Russia to Azerbaijan amounted to $95.228 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to news agency Interfax that this was informed by the Central Bank. In the 1st quarter of 2019 individuals from Russia transferred $133.786 million.

Thus, for Jan-Mar 2020 the remittances from individuals from Russia to Azerbaijan declined by 28.8%.

It should be noted that Russia is occupying the 1st place among the countries that make transfers to Azerbaijan.
