June 22, Fineko/abc.az. The initiative of President Ilham Aliyev on the distribution of the social responsibility in connection with assistance to banks in self-employment of vulnerable groups of the population created conditions for banks for participation in the expansion of the self-employment program.

ABC.AZ informs about this with reference to the statement of the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan.

According to the information, the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and ABA are actively working to implement the signed Memorandum of Cooperation. So far, 21 local banks have joined the program.

To date, banks have selected about 300 people and provided 102 of them with equipment for running business.

Credit organizations plan to continue this project until the end of the year.
