June 25, Fineko/abc.az. Zhong Nanshan, one of the leading epidemiologists of China, has shared his predictions about the end date of the coronavirus.

ABC.AZ reports that information about this was posted by the local newspaper People's Daily.

According to the expert, the virus will not disappear by the winter of this year - the spring of 2021. He added that the number of cases of infection may increase in winter, but there will not be a large-scale second wave of infections.

The Chinese doctor noted that short-term tough measures should be taken at the necessary time, such as reducing air travel and canceling classes in educational institutions, in order to prevent the further spread of local outbreaks of infection.
